Women's Empowerment Day

Join us to celebrate this important day and learn with our Symposium with leaders from recognized companies, lunch with personalities from different industries, and visit our Expo with representatives from diferent companies and Federal agencies that have contributed in a certain way to our knowledge.

As part of our activities, we will have a symposium with the following panelists:

• Hon. Keren Riquelme, Senator at Large
• Brigadier General (Retired) Marta Carcana, Former Puerto Rico National Guard, The Adjutant General
• Colonel (Retired) Margarita Aponte, Former Commander, Rodriguez Army Health Clinic

Here is the rundown of the events: 

• 9:30 am to 4 pm: Expo (Ballroom)
• 9:30 am to 4 pm: Breakout Sessions (Dorado Room)
• 10:30 am to 12:30 pm:  Symposium (Caparra Room)            
• 12:30 pm to 2pm: Lunch (Non-Host) (Conquistador Room)
• 5 pm: Live music by women's band: AORA (Borinquen Bar & Patio)

0930-1100: Career Development: Resume Building and Job Search and Dress for success during an interview.

1100-1130: Antilles Middle School: Distinguished Females Wax Museum

1230-1430: Concealed Weapon Permit Requirements & Documentation (Puerto Rico Law), How to Properly Handle., Care and Secure Personal Weapons., What weapon is best for you., Stay alert, Stay alive…on traffic lights, parking lots, or when impacted by other car.
