Saturday, March 11: Horseback Riding Tour at Hacienda Carabali, Rio Grande.

Enjoy an extraordinary horseback ride tour with the family that will take you through the foothills of El Yunque and alongside the Mameyes River. Families with kids ten years and up can register and participate. This tour will have a bonus feature where we’ll do a small hike to Angelito Trail (before the horseback ride) located in El Yunque and enjoy some time in the Mameyes River ending with lunch at the Kioskos in Luquillo.

*Requirements: Bring sunscreen, cash for food, clothes that can get wet, a towel, long pants, and closed toes shoes. Departure: 7:00 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Saturday, March 18: Road Trip to San Sebastian, Lares 

Want to learn more about the island? Join us for our first road trip of 2023 to San Sebastian, this town in the northwest of Puerto Rico is full of history and fun places to visit. We will venture out to Lares, the adjacent town where the first major rebellion against Spain started, known as El Grito de Lares, and tour the beautiful Hacienda Lealtad and learn about their history and coffee.

Requirements: Bring sunscreen, cash for food, clothes that can get wet, a towel, change of clothes.
Departure: 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Includes: Transportation, snacks, refreshments, natural waterfalls, Historic Museum of San Sebastian, and Downtown visit.
Cost: $49 pp
