MoMF: Art Contest

November is the Month of the Military Family. Army Community Service (ACS) is calling all military
children/youth to represent their military Family in an art contest. A winner will be chosen from
three (3) diferent age categories: 4-11 yrs. old; 12-14 yrs. old; 15-18 yrs. old. The winning artworks
will be displayed at the Exchange Food Court, on various Fort Buchanan Social Media sites, and
submitted to the Military Child Education Coalition for possible inclusion in a future On the Move
magazine. Participants will create an artwork that demonstrates (theme):
We are a Strong Military Family.

COMPETITION GUIDANCE:
Artwork should be on paper, size 8.5” x 11”. The participant's Registration/Parental Consent 
form should be attached to the submission. Artwork should have the child’s full name and age; and Sponsor’s name/rank/military branch and phone number/email on the back.
Artwork will be judged on originality, content, creativity, and overall impact. The winners will be notified on Monday, 28 November and recognized at Fort Buchanan’s Holiday Tree Lighting on Friday, 2 December 2022.
